Snow Removal:
The HOA's policy and intent is to engage our snow removal service any time we have snowfall that is two (2) inches or more across most of our neighborhood. We do not do any snow removal for less than two (2) inches of snow.
Please be patient during snow removal events. We try to wait to have Halligan begin snow removal once the snow has mostly stopped falling, which can be a bit of a fuzzy determination at times. Also, we are NOT the only customer that Halligan services. There are times we have to "wait our turn".
With 103 homes in our neighborhood, it may take up to 24-hours for Halligan to complete our neighborhood once started. We realize that some of you would like to "always have it removed before morning so you can get out and go to work", but this is not always possible. Halligan works to complete the snow removal in our neighborhood as soon as possible.
Lastly, our contract calls for porches, driveways, and sidewalks to be cleared, but of course depending on the type of snow, there may still be some compacted snow in places. Our HOA's service contract with Halligan provides for plows and/or shovels to be used, but Halligan does NOT treat for ice on any remaining slick spots. That is a homeowner responsibility.
